Three universities gain RE$EARCH Infosource's designation of Research University of the Year by university type for their outstanding performance on a balanced set of input and output measures. These universities demonstrated superior achievement both in earning research income and in publishing research in leading Canadian and international journals.
*Score is out of a possible 100 points. Points are awarded based on a university's ranking in the following 3 input measures: total sponsored research income (16.67 points), faculty research intensity (16.67 points) and graduate student research intensity (16.67 points); and 1 output measure: publication intensity in leading journals (50 points).
